چکیده
Abstract Research focusing on the multi-phase coupling problem and ditching performance of a certain type aircraft was carried out by volume fluid model full-flow moving mesh method. Compared with experimental results scaled model, pressure predicted this method matches well, maximum error pitch angle is less than 1.5°, which can accurately reflect movement load characteristics during ditching. On basis, influence flat tails, flaps, nacelles analyzed. The show that it not conducive to maintaining stable attitude if deflection tail too slight, advance water-entry flaps will accelerate decreasing process angle.

Ejection Seat Mechanism in Civil Aircraft
this paper deals with the ejection system that can be implemented in a civil aircraft. It is important for an aircraft to have an ejection seat in case the plane meets an accident in a battle or during test flight and the pilot has to bail out to save his or her life. The mechanism involves lifting of the pilot to a safe distance away from the aircraft and then deploying the parachute. As there...
متن کاملScaling Trajectories in Civil Aircraft (1913-1997)
Using entropy statistics we analyse scaling patterns in terms of changes in the ratios among product characteristics of 143 designs in civil aircraft. Two allegedly dominant designs, the piston propeller DC3 and the turbofan Boeing 707, are shown to have triggered a scaling trajectory at the level of the respective firms. Along these trajectories different variables have been scaled at differen...
متن کاملIn-Trim Flight Investigations of a Conceptual Fluidic Thrust-Vectored Unmanned Tail-Sitter Aircraft
The feasibility of using a stand alone Fluidic Thrust-Vectoring (FTV) system for the purpose of longitudinal trim of an unmanned aerial vehicle is the focus of the research presented in this paper. Since the fluidic thrust vectoring requires high pressure secondary air to deflect the engine exhaust gases, this research also provides an analytical toolset for preliminary sizing of a suitable sec...
متن کاملPower Generation and Distribution System of Modern Civil Aircraft
As the aircraft industry is moving towards the all electric and More Electric Aircraft (MEA); is the future trend in adopting single power type for driving the non-propulsive aircraft systems; i.e. is the electrical power. The trend in the aircraft industry is to replace hydraulic and pneumatic systems with electrical systems achieving more comfort and monitoring features. The structure of MEA ...
